Welcome to a Non-Denominational Fellowship Meeting

We are commanded in the scriptures that where two or more are gathered in God’s name, He will be there also. This event is not a church service. There is no pastor, no collection plate, no donations, and no strings attached. We are just people who wish to gather together to focus on God.

Each member of the meeting will bring their own scriptures regardless of religion of choice. This includes the Bible, The Book of Mormon, the Apocrypha, the Quran, and other sacred texts. Each will be given the opportunity to share a spiritual message based on their faith practices.

Rules:

1. Do not bring contention. This is NOT a proselyting opportunity for anyone. Yes, you think your religious beliefs are the only way to Heaven. So does everyone else about their own belief system. AGREE TO DISAGREE
2. Respect other members. As someone is sharing a spiritual message from a religious text other than your own, be respectful of those differences. You do not have to agree with anything they are saying. You do not have to believe their text is sacred. If your religion is true, then examining other people’s perspectives is no threat to your faith.
3. Do bring a desire to serve God and seek to understand those who are different than you.
4. Political Ideals. Politics just might be talked about in casual conversation. If you disagree, ignore that part of the conversation. It will not be the focus of the meeting. However, when we examine governments from a scriptural or spiritual position, it might be necessary to examine our current situation in the world. Not saying these discussions will happen. Just get over it if they do.
5. Alternative Understandings. Members of this meeting will probably talk about how energy, Quantum theory, false history, and many other things play a part in spiritual matters. If you have a rigid ideology about religious topics, you might be uncomfortable here.
